Lumigan may turn the iris (the colored part of the eye) brown and this change in color may be permanent
This got my attention, and to my amazement, when I began looking for it in my patients who use prostaglandin eye drops for treatment of glaucoma, I found the effect almost 100 percent of the time
Bimatoprost ophthalmic solution may gradually change eye color, increasing the amount of brown pigment in the iris by increasing the number of Darkening around the eyelids, and atrophy of the fat within the socket are extremely rare (they are however very common with Lumigan a stronger, longer lasting medicine in the same family and it is brand name and expensive)
You may also notice increased growth or thickness of your eyelashes
Prostaglandins are what change eye color, Brimonidine is not a prostaglandin

The recommended dosage is one drop in the affected eye (s) once daily in the evening
Use the bimatoprost eye drops within the expiry date on the bottle and within 4 weeks of opening
